Student Comments (2003 - 2005)
The following comments are in response to the question of Queen's University Survey of Student Assessment of Teaching on "What did you especially like about this course?" :
- The professor. She is amazing, makes me want to learn. I enjoy coming to class just because she's the professor. If she wasn't, this course would be much less enjoyable.
- Having a female professor in engineering, my first! I loved doing so many examples in class. I like the subject/content. The professor was very patient and understanding, and not patronizing.
- I learned a great deal. She doesn't really make mistakes, she knows the subject very well.

- teacher is nice and accommodating.
- The material was very well presented. It's a tough course to teach, but you did a great job.
- I especially liked when we did examples in class; I also liked the handouts that were well prepared and understandable.
- the printed course notes were a good base of all for the lectures and the class notes complimented them well.
- Good, clear notes, easy-to-understand textbook, well structured course.
- weekly quizzes are good to keep me on top of the work and give me a good idea of what I know and what I need to work on.
