Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Biomechanics or Biomaterials

The Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, Queen's University invites applications for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair (CRC) commencing spring/summer 2014. The rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, and the appointment is contingent upon the applicant competing successfully, externally, for a Tier 2 CRC.
The expectation is that the chair will be in the area of biomechanics or biomaterials with a focus on bone and joint health technologies. Candidate must hold a doctoral degree in mechanical engineering, materials science and engineering, or a related area, along with a record of interdisciplinary research and collaboration in biomechanical, biomaterials and/or biomedical engineering.
