Areas of Research

Human Mobility Research Lab

  • Biomechanics of Human Motion
  • Orthopaedic Biomechanics
  • Biomedical Data Analysis Techniques

My research involves the study of human locomotion to investigate the biomechanical factors of musculoskeletal diseases such as knee osteoarthritis. I am interested in the design and evaluation of non-invasive therapies as well as surgical treatments such as total knee replacement. The nature of this work is multidisciplinary and the Human Mobility Research Centre, located in the Kingston General Hospital enables collaborations between the disciplines of medicine and engineering.
